I am a Research Associate (Special Faculty PI) with the Dept. of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at The University of Texas at Austin. Before that, I was a Principal Research Manager at Microsoft (2020-2024), where I founded and led the CoStrategist R&D Group.

Research: Building and teaching LLMs to reason to achieve spatiotemporal perception with robust agentic performance and system efficiency. Areas of interest: intersection of Generative AI, hardware-aware LLM design, and Computer Vision (world) models. Vision: contribute to emerging paradigm shift in how we develop LLM software and system architectures.

Bio: I received a PhD in ECE from Carnegie Mellon University under the supervision of Diana Marculescu. Previously, I received a MEng in ECE from McGill University, Montreal, and a Diploma in ECE from NTUA, Athens. I am from Dimena, Epidaurus, Greece.
